IT Networking in Abu Dhabi

Part of IT Networking in Dubai

Abu Dhabi network work divides sharply. A city office on Al Reem or in the central business district is a density problem; a Mussafah or KIZAD facility is a coverage, heat and segmentation problem. Specifying one for the other is the mistake that recurs.

Industrial facilities and city offices need different designs

A Mussafah workshop or a KIZAD warehouse has machinery, metal racking and long spans. Wireless there needs coverage and reliable roaming rather than raw density, and a survey rather than a floor-plan estimate, because racking and stock height determine what actually works.

An Abu Dhabi city office has the opposite constraint. Thirty people on video calls in an open-plan floor on Al Reem place a load that a single access point chosen for signal strength will not carry, and the symptom is calls degrading rather than an outage anyone logs.

Heat is the constant. A switch cabinet in an unventilated Mussafah facility runs hotter than its rating assumes, and failures arrive before the replacement budget expects them — so ventilation and cabinet placement are design decisions rather than installation details.

Surveyed, not estimated

Coverage measured against racking and machinery in your Mussafah or KIZAD facility.

Roaming designed

Scanners and handhelds handed between access points without dropping the session.

Density for city offices

Access points sized for devices in an Al Reem floor rather than for area.

Cabinet ventilation

Placement planned for an Abu Dhabi industrial facility, not an air-conditioned office.

Segmentation, which Abu Dhabi customers increasingly ask about

Suppliers into Abu Dhabi government and energy customers are asked how their networks are separated — whether guest wireless can reach production systems, whether a compromised laptop reaches the server, and who holds firewall administrative rights.

Those are design questions with documented answers, not settings someone adjusts later. We specify segmentation and document each rule with the reason it exists, so the answer to a supplier questionnaire is a document rather than a recollection.

What we do, and what a contractor does

We survey, design, specify, and inspect the installed result — including certification for every cable run rather than an assurance that it works. The specification is yours and tenderable across Abu Dhabi and UAE suppliers rather than a proprietary quote tying you to one installer.

The physical installation is carried out by a contractor. We keep no cabling crew anywhere in the UAE and say so before you engage us; where you want a single Abu Dhabi company holding both design and installation, that is a legitimate preference and a local contractor serves it better.

Tenderable specification

A design you own, priceable by several Abu Dhabi suppliers.

Attended survey

The facility seen in person, including riser access and containment.

Certified and inspected

Every run tested, and the result checked against the specification.

Documented rules

Firewall and segmentation rules recorded with reasons, for the questionnaire that asks.

How we deliver

  1. 01

    Discover

We map your current setup, constraints and priorities before proposing anything.

  2. 02

    Architect

A written design with fixed deliverables, so scope is agreed before work starts.

  3. 03

    Implement

Phased rollout with rollback points — production is never left in an unknown state.

  4. 04

    Support

A named engineer, agreed response times and a handover your team can actually run.

Common questions

Physical reasons. Machinery, metal racking and long spans reflect and absorb signal in ways a floor-plan estimate cannot predict, and roaming for handhelds has to be designed. We survey Abu Dhabi industrial sites before quoting anything.
