Odoo ERP for Sharjah Manufacturers

Part of Odoo ERP Implementation in Dubai

Sharjah carries more actual manufacturing than any other emirate its size — plastics, food, packaging, metals and building materials across the industrial areas and Hamriyah. That is Odoo's ground, and it is where lighter accounting software stops being enough.

Manufacturing in Sharjah, and where implementations stall

The industrial areas around Al Sajaa, Hamriyah and the older Sharjah industrial estates are full of businesses running real production on spreadsheets. They know their bills of material — the difficulty is that the knowledge lives with a production supervisor rather than in a document.

That is the honest scoping question, and it decides the project length. Where BoMs are written down, an Odoo manufacturing build moves quickly. Where they are accumulated experience on the floor, capturing them is most of the work and should be priced as such rather than discovered in month three.

Subcontracting is the second Sharjah-specific piece. Sending material to another unit in the same industrial area for machining, coating or printing is completely normal here, and it is what spreadsheets lose: the material has left your premises, it is still yours, and it still has value.

BoM capture priced honestly

Scoped as its own work package rather than assumed to exist.

Subcontracting flows

Material out with a local workshop staying on your books and returning as a different item.

Real production cost

Labour, machine time and scrap included, not materials alone.

Landed cost on inputs

Imported raw material costed properly, since almost all of it arrives through a port.

Free zone, mainland and the VAT that follows

A Hamriyah or SAIF Zone entity manufacturing for a mainland customer is a different tax position from a mainland unit selling locally, and a proposal that does not raise this has not looked at your structure.

Odoo handles multi-company, and the arrangement needs deciding before transactions accumulate in either entity. Inter-company flows between a Hamriyah unit and a mainland company recorded as real transactions, rather than as year-end journals, is the difference between books that can be examined and books that have to be explained.

How we reach Sharjah

Our engineering team is in Kannur, India. Sharjah work is delivered remotely, with on-site attendance arranged where the task genuinely needs somebody in the room — a survey, a cutover, a hardware installation.

We say that plainly rather than implying a Sharjah office we do not keep. Ask any provider quoting you the same question, and compare the answers: a local landline is not the same as a local engineer, and the difference shows on the day something breaks in Hamriyah at four in the afternoon.

Remote by default

Configuration, migration and support delivered without a site visit, because most of it does not need one.

On-site when it counts

Surveys, cabling, installations and cutovers attended in person, scheduled rather than improvised.

Stated response times

What we commit to in writing, including what happens outside the UAE working week.

No implied presence

We do not claim a Sharjah address, and you should be sceptical of providers who do without an engineer behind it.

Common questions

It is one of the few systems in its price range that genuinely handles bills of material, work orders and subcontracting. For a plastics, packaging or metals unit in the Sharjah industrial areas or Hamriyah, it is usually the right answer over lighter accounting software, and it handles UAE VAT alongside production.
